Hi, I’m Cynthia Mejia
After more than 16 years of accounting experience in corporate, I decided to set out on my own to help small business owners and solopreneurs.
I am the owner of Balance Beyond the Ledger, a small full charge bookkeeping firm located in Southern, California. I've worked in corporate accounting for over 16 years with an emphasis in Bookkeeping & AR/Collections. Recently, I've launched my own freelance bookkeeping firm, leveraging the knowledge I've accumulated over the years.
So, with the support of my family and several clients, I made the leap and started providing bookkeeping services at affordable prices for small business owners. I have a well-proven system that several clients will attest works great for them. I also have an a la carte menu for those who may need just a few tasks completed, or something checked over. I’m here to help you expand your business without expanding your overhead.

If you are not on QuickBooks, but you would like to be, we can easily set you up with our ProAdvisor discount at 30% off of your monthly subscription. This will help us easily set you up with a formal accounting process to ensure your finances are kept clean and organized going forward.
Ongoing Monthly Maintenence
-Categorizing and booking all business transactions in QBO on a weekly basis
-Reconciling all business accounts
-Monthly financial reporting package including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and any Custom Metrics Reports needed
-Monthly video or phone meeting to review financial reports
